The first snow fell from the sky today, marking the beginning of winter, and the end of autumn. My favourite season has come to an end, it was far too short! Mesmerized by the beautiful autumn colours, I took these close-up pictures. To some it's rotting decay and dying nature, to others (like me) it's the true beauty of nature!

I've missed you! Where have you been? What gorgeous photos! I had some fun with some autumn leaves in a blog post not so long ago and constantly been inspired by Autumn colours in my wardrobe choices!
ReplyDeleteu re right. it went too fast
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful photographs. We got our first snow just a couple of days after Halloween, however, despite a few quick flurries here and there, autumn wasn't quite ready throw in the towel yet. In fact, though it's not massively warm by any stretch of the imagination, we're still (temperature wise) a bit closer to fall than the dead of winter. This being Canada though, those infamous blizzards and -30 (or more!) temps are bound to show up again might soon.

so lovely! it's sad to see autumn go, but winter feels so magical when it first starts frosting and snowing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, I especially like the frosty web covered ivy! We have a lot of that in our back garden creeping all over the place! Autumn in its dying days :( so sad! It really didn't get a chance to hang around for too long this year which is such a shame! The snow and cold has set in here already making my bones shiver! The one good thing about winter is that when you're in your home all cosy and warm there isn't anywhere else in the world I want to be! I kinda hope the snow will go away for now and come back on Christmas day!
ReplyDeleteAmazing quality, I love autumn pictures and those are just beautiful, so vivid! Somehow I missed this post, don't know how *confused* Will speak to you soon! Take care, dear.
